"No, you can't do this to me!" I began laughing as my boyfriend, Jordan Russo, screamed that sentence to me. "What, can't you take a little tickling?" I teased. I reached over to get in some tickling action. He held out his hand for me to stop. "Whoa! Delphine, do you see that new kid? He's really checking you out!" I turned around and saw the new kid staring at me. He quickly turned and blushed. "What amazing blond hair he has!" I remarked in awe. Jordan half-growled. "How dare he do that to you! You're mine!" "I don't belong to you or anyone," I retorted angrily. He rolled his eyes and got up from the table. I grabbed his hand and held him back. "No," I begged. "No, please, don't, Jordan. He's new. He doesn't know we are dating." He sighed and sat back down. He glared at me. "It's almost like you harbor feelings for . . . that creep!" Katherine Palark, my best friend, finally stood up for me. "Hey, there's tables in here, Jordan. Why don't you pick one and eat there?" He rolled his eyes again and left. Jenny Baylor nodded her head toward Jordan. "Oh, don't worry about him. He'll get over it. He always does. He's just very jealous." I sighed. "Yeah, well, this is the last time." I walked over to where Jordan was. "This is it." "What?" He asked as he looked at me, exasperated. "We are over!" I exclaimed. His jaw dropped. "No, you can't do that! You can't! You can't!" Jordan screamed. He staggered out of the cafeteria, almost losing his balance a couple of times. He turned around at the door. "You'll regret this, Delphine Dumond!" He cried and raised his hands in a triumphant manner.
