Evaluation, organizational employment, work adjustment training and personal adjustment training are a few of the rehabilitation services provided at Consolidated Industries. Individuals are assisted in viewing themselves as productive and as members of an organization. They develop increased independence and expand personal goals, skills and abilities. Each day, many individuals report to work at Consolidated Industries and to community work sites to work on a variety of skills while at the same time performing important tasks for area business.
Evaluation services assist individuals in identifying vocational interests, strengths, needs, options and goals through the use of individual counseling, assessment and productive work. Through work adjustment training, individuals who have identified community job placement as their primary goal are assisted in increasing skills and work behavior, understanding their disability as it relates to work demands, developing job seeking skills and developing a knowledge of employer expectations. Personal adjustment training assist the individual in overcoming barriers to employment in the areas of social behavior, productivity and the physical and emotional tolerance for work.
