What's that sound I hear?

Almost every successful hearing aid user has experienced whistling, technically know as FEEDBACK. Feedback occurs when amplified sound escapes from an ear sealed with a hearing aid. If this amplified sound re-enters the hearing aid through the microphone, the electronic circuit will resonate and cause feedback. It is irritating to listen to feedback. In addition, a hearing that feeds back does not work well when feedback occurs. Thus, feedback must be controlled. The method your Audiologist uses to control feedback depends upon the
